There's a tremor in my spirit whenever I think about it: the men and women I met in the village were never the same because of the outpouring, and while many talk about revival as though they were long-ago bedtime stories, they lived in its reality, and are still yearning for it today.

I am passionate about seeing a greater release of the Prophetic Arts in the body of Christ, and particularly in the prayer movement.  When a worshipful heart is surrendered to the creative expression of the Holy Spirit, powerful things happen! 

PenHOP's years of dreaming, longing, and praying to have children in the House were finally fulfilled on June 17, 2017.

On 18th February 2017, PenHOP and their friends and family gathered in the Prayer Room at 52 Jalan Green Hall, to witness yet another year of God’s faithfulness and goodness to the House.

Weekends at PenHOP was held from 14 to 15 October with the intention of introducing the heart of the prayer movement over one weekend.

From 26 to 29 July this year, sons and daughters from over 30 nations met in Ilsan Kwanglim Church, Seoul, for the first-ever United Prayer Rising (UPRising) Conference. In a time when this generation is struggling to find their purpose, the team from UPRising saw a need to gather young people from the nations to be inspired and empowered by the wisdom and love of fathers in the faith and the field. 

The Church of St. George the Martyr - now commonly known as St. George’s Church – is the oldest Anglican Church in Southeast Asia. Since the groundbreaking on 1816, the church has now stood for 200 years in Georgetown as one of the reminders of Penang’s magnificent spiritual heritage. 

From 3 July to 9 July this year, I had the honor in representing PenHOP to help pioneer an internship with Vigan House of Prayer (VigHOP), in Vigan City, the Philippines with two other leaders from Burning Hearts, Singapore.

Converge was held for the second time on 25 to 27 April 2016, at The Lost Paradise Resort, Batu Feringghi in Penang, and this time around, we had the participation of more than 60 leaders representing over 20 different houses of prayer and prayer ministries. 

This year, we had 25 individuals from 5 different nations who made their choice to consecrate 30 days in Penang with the purpose of intentionally seeking the face of God. The four weeks of the internship were crafted to provide Biblical understanding of the prayer movement, along with extended times of encounter in the Prayer Room through prayer and worship.
